Powerful Men Fall


This seems to be a recurring phenomenon in our society today.  I’m certain it occurred years ago, but the media heightens our awareness and fuels the fire of powerful people self-destructing.  The latest fall occurred with HP CEO, Mark Hurd, who resigned from his position with the company based on accusations of sexual harassment and cheating on expense reports.  What causes a person to make such poor decisions that have devastating consequences for his career and family life?  Even today the impact of Tiger Woods’s decisions continue to have a negative and destructive impact on his golf game.  What happened to these powerful men’s moral character, integrity, and trustworthiness?  For some individuals, power and wealth creates a sense of entitlement with their mindset being th
